Shane Reilly

Shane aka. Reillyman is the man with a plan, always dedicated to his job and always helping out in some way or another. Shane doesn’t believe in failure. Known for his god given ability at Fussball you are most likely to find him in a pub somewhere telling everyone how Mayo is going to win Sam McGuire and how Enda Kenny is great. Keep dreaming Shane. No doubt though with him in the hot seat, BizSoc is in for another great year!

Vice-Auditor

Caoimhe Folan

A native Irish speaker from An Cheathrú Rua, veteran of the NUIG Apprentice and top-girl all round, Caoimhe is this years Vice-Auditor. Since joining the society in late 2011 she has proven herself to be a valuable asset, blessed with initiative and enthusiasm she hopes to make this year even better than last.

Treasurer

Andrew Larrigan

The Dublin reared Commerce student brings his detailed approach to the post of Treasurer. Andrew’s calculator, obserative eyes and commitment will be his main tools in bringing in new riches to the BizSoc bank next year. He carries on from his post of Secretary from 2010/11. He likes Liverpool FC and going to the gym.

Stephen Duff

 Hailing from the ever lovely Laois, Stephen brings much experience of P.R. and Marketing to the BizSoc, having held a position at county level of the G.A.A. in his native county as P.R.O, .along with having worked with local and regional newspapers since 2008. He is very enthusiastic. Usually found on his phone or trying to find a new and inventive concept to promote all things BizSoc. Big and Bold, is the name of the game, he claims. The power of the combover.

Barry is the BizSoc Webmaster and one of our Graphic Designers. He is a bit of a techy and has a huge interest in business after starting his own company in college.

Kevin Kennedy

Kevin is a B.A. student, and an all round legend. Part journalist, part school teacher, he is in his 3rd year of college. His interests include writing, ‘amateur boxing’ and long walks. Quite simply, Kevin is known as ‘The King of the Bridge’, something of which he is justifiably proud.

Declan Higgins

Declan is this years Speakers Conveyer. A student with a strong interest in law, business and university life; Declan works hard in every aspect of his life. He is a great fan of an odd G&T and is always ready for a night out with the lads.

Logistics Officer

Ronan Mulloy

Carrying on from his brothers role last year as Treasurer of the BizSoc, Ronan builds on the family experience to organise all of the trips domestically and abroad next year. He is currently always keeping one eye on the price of petrol and the Ryanir website. He likes walks along Salthil beach and dislikes bad attitudes. His current travel plan include Costa Rica, Kenya, Peru and California.

Catherine Breslin

The belle from Donegal brings her charm and neat handwriting to the position of Secretary next year. Her favourite day of the year is Donegal Tuesday and her goals include graduating from Commerce and owning a puppy.

The American from the OC brings her jounalistic talents to the Business Review. Previous work includes a blog on Tumblr, writing articles last year for the Review and publishing her work on the Business School Website. Her favourite quote is “You were born an original so don’t die a copy”.

Waterboy

Kevin Heaney

Hailing from the distant land of Knocknacarra, Kevin exploded onto the scene during the International trip to Prague in 2012. The man is known for his many talents, including his uncanny knack for good banter, an amazing memory bank of “Soprano’s” quotes and the superhuman ability to eat a chicken roll in three bites. Having been elected this years Waterboy, Kevin said it was “The greatest honour of my life,” and says he hopes to “bring my unique style of hydration to this prestigious society.”
