This Year is the exciting new announcement of our strategic partnership with the most popular nightclub in Galway, Electric Garden & Theatre. It made a lot of sense for the biggest and best society in NUIG with the largest reach to the students to join forces with the most polished nightclub in Connacht.
This joint effort will guarantee students a better organised nights out with access to the club, all of our night time events will be held in this prestigious location where many students have never been before because of it’s strict entry policy. Many large parties and nights out will have been held here by the Biz Soc during the year including The Commerce Ball day after party, Take Me Out and the Las Vegas night.
Along side this, we have brought them onto our discount and membership card, the BizCard to offer better deals to students on nights out and allowing CP’s to cherry pick their customers.
For Central Park this all offers a more consistent influx of students as we can assure them of numbers, so they can open up the club to the events involved in our society. With this guaranteed amount of students, Central Park can plan in advance for the dates and maximise their revenue stream. It has been a successful year for all the parties involved and will be continuing it in the future.

KPMG are one of the biggest accountancy firms not just in Ireland but in the World, working with them opens up a lot of doors within the corporate environment for both sides. Well famed for their long partnership to the Biz Soc in sponsoring them for many years, this year we were delighted to announce the continuation of this collabaration.
The Business Society provide them with publicity and awareness of their many great opportunities including the chance to work for them throught their internships, or after finishing college and the possibility of using their accounting skills in the future when working in other areas. The part we play in their brand development within students minds is invaluable, this is the first time students hear about ‘Internships’ and ‘Accountancy firms’ so we are glad we can help students make the right choice from their very first decision. We are very proud to be associated with this business.

NUI Galway Cairnes Business School
We work closely with the Businses School to promote our interests and theirs. We give practical business skills to students that they can’t always learn in the classroom, we also try to promote learning in students. One great example of this is our BizGrinds service where we offer grinds for free to our members. This is done in subjects that are hard for students.
